Description

TW 35 NW HACHESTON EASTON LANE 7/102 Abbey Farmhouse 25.10.51 - II Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Late C16/early C17, possibly earlier core. Main range with cross wings at either end, the right hand cross wing with a dairy extension to the rear. Timber framed and plastered, plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 5 window range (including cross wings), mainly 3-light and 4-light casements; the main range has a lobby entrance with paired 3-panel doors, the upper panels glazed; one flat-roofed dormer; internal stack, originally with 3 octagonal flues: the moulded bases of the flues remain but the stack has been rebuilt above. The right hand cross wing has an external stack with 3 detached octagonal flues with moulded bases and linked caps. Listing NGR: TM3010358922
