Description

TM 47 SM THORINGTON 3/35 Stonehouse Farmhouse - II Farmhouse. Early-mid C19 with later additions to rear. Small flint pebbles, white brick rusticated quoins and window surrounds, brick dentil eaves, cornice; hipped slated roof. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade with 3 window range, inset sashes with glazing bars, segmental arches; central doorway with 6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed, plain wooden pilasters, cornice and pediment; the doorway is a later addition as the brick dressings indicate a semi-circular headed entrance. 2 storey additions to rear, partly in red brick, with pantiled roofs.
