TM 46 SW LEISTON-CUM-SIZEWELL UPPER ABBEY 5/51 Upper Abbey Farmhouse 13.3.51 GV II Farmhouse. C17 rear, late C18 front facing south. Earlier part is timber framed, partly encased in brick with plastered gable end; pantiled roof. 2-storeys and attic. Casement windows with small panes, plain boarded doors. C18 front of red brick, with brick band at first floor level and brick modillion cornice; slated roof with plain tiles at rear. 2-storeys plus attic. 3 window range, sashes with glazing bars, flat arches. Central doorway with recessed 6-panel door, pilasters and broken pediment, panelled reveals. Semi-circular fanlight with radiating and circular glazing bars. C20 brick porch.
