Public house. C18 to west (part of this section is now incorporated in Red House flats); the main range to east dated 'W + E 1868' on upper east gable. Earlier part: red brick, pantiles to front, plaintiles to rear; 2 storeys and attic; 2 window range, sashes with glazing bars in flush frames to ground floor, 2-light small pane casements to first floor, plaster cornice, one hipped dormer. Main range: red brick, plaintiled roof with crest tiles; 2 storeys and attic; 4 window range, 2-light and 3-light casements with heavy mullions and transoms and metal glazing bars in geometric pattern, flat brick arches; 2 doorways: one 4-panel door with the upper 2 arched panels glazed, one inset 6- panel door with the upper 2 panels glazed; the window and door openings have splayed reveals. 3 stacks, each with 2 tall octagonal flues with moulded bases and caps. 2 gabled dormers to rear.
