Description
MARKET HILL 1. 1852 Pump in centre of hill, west of The Shire Hall TM 2749 2/317A II GV 2. Erected 1877. Central dwarf fluted Doric column, with wheel and piston action. Canopy of limestone and sandstone in Gothic style with pointed arches, 4 angle buttresses and foliate finial. Platform and circular troughs all contemporary. All listed buildings in Market Hill form a group around Shire Hall.
