ILKETSHALL ST. MARGARET LOW STREET TM 38 NE 2/38 - School Farmhouse - II Former farmhouse. C17. 2 storeys. Timber-framed core encased in early C19 colour-washed brick; slate roof; copings to gables. One internal and one end chimney-stack, both with plain red brick shafts. 5 plain full height pilasters spaced across the front. 5 windows and one blank panel to each storey: 2-light and 3-light mullion-and-transome type, on the ground storey with segmental arches to frames and surrounds. Entrance door with 6 sunk panels, the top 2 glazed; panelled linings to doorcase, half-round pilasters and entablature. Most framing is covered inside: basic 3-cell layout, altered in early C19. One open truss with long arched braces visible on upper floor. Roof inaccessible. Listing NGR: TM3502085360
