Description

WATTISHAM THE GREEN 1. 5377 Wattisham Hall TM 05 SW 34/966 23.1.58 II 2. A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof. It stands on a site surrounded by a moat. The front is faced in panelled plaster. Two storeys. Three window range of casements. The upper storey has a painted window above the doorway. There is a 6-panel door with a pedimented head. A ridge chimney stack has 4 grouped octagonal shafts on a square base (cement faced). The rear part of the house has been burnt down. Listing NGR: TM0104651314
