Description

1. LAVENHAM PRENTICE STREET 5377 (south side) No 41 to 43 (consec) TL 9149 50/638 21.3.62 II GV 2. A timber-framed and plastered building probably of C15-C16 origin but altered later. There may have been another cross wing at the east end, now replaced by the C19 house, No 40. Roof tiled. The cross wing at the west end is 2 storeyed and the main block is one storey and attics. Casement windows, one old leaded casement and the others mainly modern. One oriel bay. Three doorways approached by steps from the pavement. Two gabled dormers on the front. Ridge chimney stack.
