In the entry for the following: BRENT ELEIGH MILDEN ROAD 1. 5377 Gateway and Wall to Wells Hall TL 9447 53/178 23.1.58 II The grade shall be upgraded to II*, the address shall be amended to read; 1. 5377 BRENT ELEIGH MILDEN ROAD Wall and gateway South West of Wells Hall TL 9447 53/178 23.1.58 II* GV and the description shall be amended to read: Boundary wall and gateway C16 with C19 repairs. English bound red brick. Section boundary wall about 70 yards long and about 6 feet high with plinth moulding and roll-moulded saddle-back terracotta coping ( some of coping renewed). Towards the right hand end a small buttress with set-offs and at the left end 4 larger C19 buttresses, also with set-off. Gateway off centre with double-chamfered round arch, the arch of the corner order is ovolo moulded; battlements above with 3 diagonally-set pinnacles, the centre pinnacle is taller; flanking buttresses with set-offs and C20 wrought-irongate. The south east end of the wall has been rebuilt and a later outbuilding has been built against the wall, inside atthe south east end. BRENT ELEIGH MILDEN ROAD 1. 5377 Gateway and wall to Wells Hall TL 9447 53/178 23.1.58 II 2. A C16 red brick arched gateway with tabled buttresses on either side and surmounted by square pinnacles diagonally set in the east end of a wall which extends approximately 70 yds (63 m) along the south boundary of the grounds to Wells Hall. At the east end of the wall there are 4 buttresses with tabled offsets. Listing NGR: TL9457147304
