Description
POLSTEAD THE GREEN 1. 5377 (north-east side) Cock Farmhouse TL 9938 62/860 II GV 2 Originally a mediaeval hall house with a floor inserted in the C16-C17. Considerably altered. Roof tiled. Two storeys. Small casement windows to the hall block. A C19 wing with a slate roof extends to the east with double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Ridge chimney stacks. The interior has carved ceiling beams.
