BURSTALL TM 04 SE THE STREET Barn c30m West 3/3 of Mulbery Hall II GV The entry shall be amended to read: TM 04 SE THE STREET Barn at White 3/3 House Farm II GV Barn. C17, extended early C19. Weatherboard over timber frame on brick plinth; gabled corrugated asbestos roof. 9-bay plan with threshing floors to 2nd and 7th bays. Plank double doors to west side and lean-to midstreys to east side. Interior: C17 four-bay barn has mid rails to wall framing; jowled wall posts to the beams which have one surviving set of arch braces otherwise replaced by C19 knee braces; collar-truss roof with full set of curved windbraces to clasped purlins. Early C19 extension has well framing of slighter scantling without mid rails; knee braces to tie beams and nailed collars to trusses. Attached C20 sheds and C19 outbuildings not of special architectural or historic interest.
TM 04 SE BURSTALL THE STREET 3/3 Barn c 30 m West of Mulberry Hall GV II Barn. C17 altered C18. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, brick plinth, asbestos tile roof. 9 bays with midstreys on east side to 2nd and 7th bays and opposing doors on west. Through-braced frame. Clasped purlin roof, the four northern bays with wind braces, ridge piece, most tie beams with knees, that to north braced. Included for group value.
