Description

TL 76 SW GAZELEY NEEDHAM STREET' 6/44 Needham Hall II House. Late Cl5 or early C16 core, with alterations of several periods. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and rendered; a C16 cross- wing, now central, has an upper floor jettied on 2 brackets. Plaintiled roofs (some slated sections to rear), with various chimneys of red and gault brick. Mainly C20 casements. C20 1- storey plaintiled lean-to porch with glazed door. A C16 or C17 range to left, much altered, the eaves line raised C19. A narrow C17 wing to right; another to centre rear. A rainwater hopper- head to rear dated 1798. Listing NGR: TL7210465618
