6/8 Monument to General Sir James Affleck, Bt., adjacent to south side of Church of St. Mary.

Limestone monument to General Sir James Affleck,Bt., of Dalham Hall (d.1833). Obelisk on square pedestal with moulded cornice and plinth; about 5 metres high. An inscription is carved on the south face. Surrounded by an area of limestone paving slabs; the kerb, which formerly had iron railings set into it, runs from the south-west corner of the tower to the south-west corner of the south aisle of St. Mary's Church.
