Description

STOWUPLAND CHURCH ROAD TM 06 SE 5/176 09/12/55 Stowupland Hall -- II Farmhouse, early C19. Gault brick. Hipped slated roof; beneath the eaves are paired shallow modillions carved with paterae. Internal chimneys of gault brick. 2 tall storeys and an attic storey. 3 windows. Small-pane sashes; flat arches of finely gauged brick. Glazed panelled entrance door with border panes; semi-circular fanlight with radiating bars; narrow sidelights; a flight of 3 steps. Ionic portico porch with entablature, all in limestone. An original 2-storey service wing to rear. Listing NGR: TM0789860358
