TL 96 NE NORTON WOOLPIT ROAD 2/121 Street Farmhouse 15.11.54 (formerly listed as Tiske Farmhouse and Barn, Ashfield Road) GV II Farmhouse, early C17 with possible earlier core. 2 storeys. 3-cell lobby- entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roof, the front slope renewed in concrete plaintiles; the hipped slope to right is slated. An axial early C17 chimney of red brick with sawtooth shaft. Mid C20 casements with transomes. A doorway in the gable wall to right at 1st storey level (once serving a granary over the service end) has been converted to a window. C19 gabled plaintiled porch at lobby-entrance position has a mid C20 battened and boarded door. A rear wing to left, timber-framed and plastered, has an early C18 parapet gable in red brick with random burnt headers, and with a chimney at the apex. Interior not examined.
