Model farm; a plaque of limestone over the entrance is engraved "Erected by
Lankester Webb 1867. Designed J.O. Fraser. Architect O. Andrews. Builders
Andrews & Son". Red brick with quoins of gault brick. Slated roofs, (some
areas refinished in asbestos sheeting); the front range gable-front. Ranges
of buildings around a yard; the first range has an outer gateway, with 5 bays
oil gables on either side alternately set backward and forward. The gateway
has a semicircular arch with plaque above, a pair of framed and boarded gates,
and an octagonal timber lantern astride the roof. The second bay on each side
has a shallow blind arch, and the fourth bay two doorways with framed and
boarded doors. The barn, timber-framed and weather boarded, occupies the rear
of the yard, which is infilled by other timber-framed buildings.
