House, late C17 or early C18, with alterations of C19 and mid C20. Red brick
with a band at 1st floor level; the left-hand section plastered and the whole
facade painted in mid C20. Hipped plaintiled roof with large modillions in
groups of three beneath the eaves. Internal chimneys of red brick. 2
storeys. Recessed 2-window centre block between slightly set-forward cross-
wings, also of 2 windows. Mid C19 sashes with large panes, in original
segmental-headed openings of gauged brick. Entrance doorway with mid C20
panelled door and flat canopy cantilevered on curved brackets. Much interior
and rear remodelling in C19 and mid C20.
