Early C17 with c1800 front range. Plastered timber frame on tarred brick plinth. Rear wing of whitewashed brick laid in Flemish bond. Slate (front), plaintile (rear) roofs. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Central 6-panelled and fielded door with 4-vaned fanlight. Timber doorcase with hood. One C19 3-light casement either side, and 3 similar first-floor casements, that to centre of 2 lights only. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks. 2-storey rear outshut. INTERIOR: open-well c1800 staircase of stick balusters and rasp-moulded handrail. Panelled and fielded doors; 2-panelled cupboard doors on first floor. Cast-iron birdnest fire grates, that to west on first floor with bolection-moulded surround.
