Farmhouse, probably late C16 or early C17. 2 storeys. 3-cell cross-entry
plan. Timber-framed and plastered; the eastern gable towards the road has a
projecting gable tiebeam with brackets beneath the wallplates. Plaintiled
roof; the bargeboards have C19 spike finials. An axial early C17 chimney of
red brick-with sawtooth shaft. Mainly mid C19 sashes with large panes. At
the cross-entry position, two massive C19 console brackets flank a C20 glazed
panelled door. A low C19 red brick and slated range added to east end.
