Former maltings, now used as barn and sheds. C17, extended, refronted and
reroofed early C19. Red brick with a timber framed core. Black glazed
pantiled roof. 10 bays, probably 7 bays originally and extended to left. 2
storeys. Scattered openings to yard: louvred 2-light windows, steps up to a
central door leading to loft, to left an open cart shed with a trap door to
loft, beyond a projecting lean-to addition with a catslide roof.
Weatherboarded left end with exposed double purlins. Right end rendered over
a lean-to outshut. To rear a continuous lean-to addition with a catslide
roof. Interior: some early framing to original rear wall with studding, mid-
rail and through tension bracing of large scantling, stop chamfered cross
axial binding beams, loft not inspected.
