TL 97 SE HEPWORTH THE STREET (WEST SIDE) 3/20 Malting Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C17. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and rendered, with double Roman tiled roof. An internal chimney-stack with 4 attached hexagonal shafts on a square base. Irregular fenestration: various C19 casement windows. Lobby entrance. Along the west end, a later single-storey lean-to with pantiled roof. Timbers largely covered inside: ovolo-moulded main beams to ground storey rooms. The house stands sideways-on to the road.
