Description
COCKFIELD 1. 5377                                                  Earl's Hall TL 95 SW 32/246 II 2. One of the old maniors of the parish.  The present house is a timber-framed building probably of the C17 but has been much altered in the C18-C19 with brick facing (painted) on the front.  Built on an L shaped plan with wings extending to the north and west.  There is a modern addition on the east end.  Two storeys.  Four window range of double-hung sashes and casements.  There are 2 ground storey bays, one with French casements. Roof tiled with an external chimney stack at the west end.
