1/54 Rymer Farmhouse, Barnham

Farmhouse. C18, altered in early C19. 2 storeys: L-shaped form. Knapped flint with white brick rusticated quoins and dressings. Black glazed pantiles, hipped roof. One small-paned sash window to ground storey: 2 similar windows blocked, and replaced by a canted bay with a tented roof and French windows. Range of 4 small-paned sashes to upper storey. Fully enclosed late C19 flint and brick porch with hipped roof: late C20 panelled door. Wing at rear in 2 parallel ranges: eastern range, with casement windows and internal chimney- stack, possibly older than front.
