Description

1997: An archaeological excavationw as undertaken in advance of an extension to Ingham Quarry and following the results of an evaluation. Three areas were identified for excavation, however site FSG 014 was preserved in situ under bunds at the edge of the site. Site FSG 013 was the larger of the areas to be excavated covering 14000sqm (135m x 135m), and FSG 015 was a relatively small area of 23m x 22m located around a single ring-ditched cremation.
