Description
Prior to a programme of consolidation and conservation works on the standing remains of the chapel of St. Saviour's Hospital (SAM No. 26) on Fornham Road the walls of the west end were recorded. Black and white photos and colour slides were taken of all the wall faces prior to the eraction of scaffolding. A series of measured drawings were made of the main details of the wall faces, primarily to record the phases of repair and any original fabric still visible. The work was a condition of Scheduled Monument consent (S1).
