Description
The second stage excavation was carried out in April 1994 by a team from Norfolk. An irregular area covering approx 650 sqm in three strips, (two E-W and one N-S), most of which was along the Eastgate Street Frontage, was opened by machine down to the subsoil and cleaned by hand (S1).
