Description
Excavation in advance of development of 60 Acre Field at RAF Mildenhall uncovered a natural hollow in which a Neolithic buried soil survived. Features identified on high ground to the north west of the hollow contained no finds but are probably related to contemporary settlement which has been all but destroyed.
