Description
Watching brief revealed a possible ditch or linear feature in trench side. Unable to see depth but c.500mm deep and filled with mid/pale brown silty sand. Very little overlying topsoil had been left and this contained modern finds. The trenches were unstable and so close inspection was not possible. Spoil heaps were examined but only c20th finds were recognised.
