Description
W10999/03. WB on Flixton Park Quarry (Phase 3). Topsoil (15-20cm) stripped using front loading shovel down to hard packed gravel. Dry & dusty conditions & a few pockets of subsoil left in place but no obvious features noted. 2 site visits, virtually all phase 3 examined. Few stray finds including various flints and 1 sherd Rom greyware, 1 sherd med courseware. Found over area c240m x 75m.
