Description
Monitoring of thirty linear metres of building footings , dug to a depth of up to 0.90m. The only feature observed during the monitoring was a thin remnant of a rammed chalk surface, or layer, which survived below the topsoil within the western footing trenches. This feature is most likely to be relatively recent in date, although no artefactual evidence could be associated with it. No other archaeological features or finds were located as a result of the monitoring.
