Description
Geophysics resistivity survey in Willow Bed Field carried out with the aim of finding buried archaeology on a site where Romanb period tile (tegula, imbrice) and pottery on the surface was found while metal detecting some weeks earlier. The first part of the survey was a narrow 10m wide linear traverse which was followed by an area resistivity survey which revealed in plan view a probable building. The area survey was later extended to investigate an anomaly to the SW of the building revealing possible further building remains (S1).
