Description
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed residential development of the site. The work is the second of five phases of evaluation trenching over the Hundred Acres site. This phase was located in the North West of the site. The evaluation consisted of 79 trenches, 74 of which measured at 30m by 1.8m and 5 measured at 40m by 1.8m. This represented a 5% sample of the proposed development area. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
