Description
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed residential development of the site. The work is the first of five phases of evaluation trenching over the Hundred Acres site. The evaluation consisted of 28 trenches, each measuring 40m in length by 1.6m in width. This represented a 5% sample of the proposed development area. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified (S1).
