Description
Monitoring of footing trenches pror to residential development. The site had previously been stripped of c.200m of topsoil. The footings monitored included four 2m x 2m pits of 2.8m depth. Intervening shallower trenches (0.7m deep) connected the deeper pits. Natural clay was encoutered at 0.6m.
