Description
An archaeological monitoring was carried out on land at Chamberlain's Buildings. Previous archaeological work in the area has discovered both Roman and prehistoric evidence within 100m to the north-east. A small concentration of pits and two shallow linear features were found towards the south-west of the proposed area. Recovered finds consist of burnt stone and a single Roman coin.
