Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on a new extension and patio area at Risby Manor South, The Green, Risby. A total of five visits were made to the site to monitor the reduction of the development area. The area of the new patio measured 10m by 9m and was reduced by up to 1.15m across the area. This revealed the area had been significantly raised, likely in the 20th century and there was a great deal of root disturbance across the site. Medieval and Post Medieval finds were recovered (S1).
