Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks for an extension to Moat House. Visits were made to the site to inspect the topsoil strip and excavation of the footing trenches. The initial strip removed c.0.25m of overburden across the development area. The footing trenches were 1m deep and c.0.6m wide. 20th century debris and garden features were identified.
