Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Church Farm, Thorington of an area stripped for the foundation raft and a series of trenches excavated for a ground source heating system. No Archaeological features were noted and no artefacts of any period were recovered. The natural subsoil comprised clean yellow/brown sand and gravel was noted at a depth of c. 0.3m below ground level.
