Description
A 46M trench for new gas supply inspected in garden to the rear of the Guilhall. Homogenous dark topsoil layer produced a large amount of post medieval building materials but no pottery or more reliable dating materials were recovered from the spoil. Three wall footings were identified, having been cut by the line of the trench, all of which comprising of red brick.
