Description
Evaluation was undertaken ahead of proposed development. Three trenches were excavated using a 1.8m toothless bucket to a depth of 1.2-1.9m down onto orange clay natural. The total depth of the modern build up was 0.3m-0.65. Below the modern layers was a 0.8m-0.95 deep very dark brown silty sand over a 0.4m deep orange silt sand which sat directly over the natural.
