Description
One visit was made to this site following the excavation of footing trenches during the construction of a house extension. Approx 8m of trenching to a depth of c.1.1m were observed during machine excavation. The builders recorded finding bone during the excavation. The trenches were too narrow to record in detail but they generally consisted of a deep deposit of dark garden loam about 0.8m deep (S1).
