Description
Although the footings for the extension were already covered by the time the site was visited, a soakaway pit was available for inspection giving a clear view of the topsoil and subsoil characteristics. The deposits have been heavily disturbed, and may represent the backfill of a gravel pit. Only modern finds were encountered and not retained.
