Description
An archaeological evaluation comprising a single trench 9m long, 1.8m wide and up to 0.55m deep, was carried out on land adjacent to Millstone Cottage, Thorndon prior to the construction of a new dwelling. No finds or deposits of archaeological relevance were observed - a single post-med(?)/modern drainage ditch and drainpipe was observed. No further work was recommended.
