Description
Monitoring of groundworks for a car park extension and new toddler unit recorded in-situ evidence for a farm structure of probable 18th century date. Examination of the tithe map confirmed that an existing pond on the site was constructed after 1839, and not the remnants of a second moated enclosure. The footings for the toddler unit did not reveal and features or finds of archaeological interest (S1).
