The project was carried out on the 6th of June, 2011. A trench for the footings revealed a spread of material interpreted as an old plough soil which included pottery of late Saxon to post-medieval date with the addition, on this occasion, of three metal finds of probable post-medieval date. The results of the archaeological recording reinforced the findings of the previous evaluation.
