Description

Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundworks for a new porch and rear extension. The footings for the porch were excavated to a depth of 0.7m, cutting approximately 0.15m into the natural subsoil. The underpinning holes excavated inside the house measured 0.75m by 1m and were excavated to a depth of 1.4m, cutting c.0.8m into the natural subsoil. No finds or features of archaeological interest.
