Description
A monitoring carried out during the excavation of footing trenches for an extension to 10 Angel Hill uncovered evidence of the earlier occupation of the site. The site was visited on a number of occasions. This included the grubbing out of an earlier concrete slab and the excavation of four footing trenches that were aligned east-west across the site. The sections were hand cleaned where possible, and a limited amount of hand excavation was carried out (S1).
