Description

Following the discovery of a Roman cremation possibly associated with three iron saw blades and a copper alloy cauldron, by a metal detector user an excavation was undertaken to examine the immediate context of the find by excavation. The objectives was to retrieve any other finds from the group and to see if any other contemporary archaeological features were present.
