Description
Excavations of a new dyke on Beccles Town marshes (by contractors working on a multi million pound floor alleviation strategy for Broadland), revealed multiple vertical timber remains that had been hand sculpted, dating to the Iron Age/Roman period. Roman period pottery was also recovered.
