Stoke by Clare, Fourwinds, Ashen Lane (SBC 036, TL 7416 4335) evaluation trenching at the site, adjacent to the parish church, of a small residential development did not reveal any archaeological features and very few stray finds save one small sherd of medieval pottery and occasional small fragments of Post medieval peg tile.
